Joseph Gullett

Principal Advisor of Southern Alliance
He advises U.S.-based and foreign corporate clients on international expansion, providing critical insights, risk management and due diligence services. In this role, he has advised numerous technology companies seeking to enter the U.S. market. Additionally, he has served as in-house counsel for a software start-up company, providing legal and regulatory guidance.
Joseph spent over 20 years in government service developing and leading diverse teams in a variety of complex missions. Having managed a number of special projects in the U.S. Defense and National Security industries, he understands how to navigate complex regulatory systems.
His extensive knowledge spans the areas of National Security Law, Business Law, Immigration Law, and International Cooperation Agreements. Additionally, as an attorney who speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese he has a unique ability to serve a diverse client base. He holds a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and is admitted to practice in Maryland and in various federal courts, including the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
